Wow!! It has been over a year since the last update. Some changes happened here at MtnView. Royal Kennels have re-located to the MtnView Ranch near DeSmet, Idaho. A big "Welcome" goes out to Ronna Stewart and her Royal Kennels.

Roree was best puppy in Sweeps at the supported entry at the Enumclaw, Wa show on Saturday 8/15/2009.

New Champion!

Roree went to the Spokane, Wa shows May 23-24th. She finished her championship with (2) 3 point majors. Ronna Stewart did an excellent job of handling Roree. Thanks to Bonnie Harris of Wildair Border Collies for breeding Roree and giving MtnView Border Collies the opportunity to own and show her.

No one came to our show except Vogue, as a special! Roree got best of winners all 4 days with no competition and no points!

Roree's second Major

While in Denver Roree got her 2nd major on Monday 2/16/09. She needs 6 points to finish. Her next show will be in Lewiston, Id at the PHDF/LCKC All Breed Shows.

BCSA Specialty Show

Roree has her introduction to the show scene at just 6 months old with this show. She makes everyone involved very proud of her. Judge Ms Joyce Herie places her 3rd in class Sweepstakes (Fri 17th) and Judge Mrs Monica Canestrini places her 1st in class Conformation (Sun 19th).

I took Lace to WSU for a second opinion on her hips. Her hip results have been upgraded to "Mild Dysplasia". Lace will be spayed soon and will live out her life as a companion dog.

Lace's OFA results came back on 8/23/08 and the news is not good. She is moderately dysplastic. Passion's OFA results came back 9/13/08 and the news about her hips is not good either! She is moderately dysplastic also! I am bummed out as I had such high hopes for both of them.

I traveled over to the Olympia area to visit Bonnie Harris of Wildair Border Collies and picked out my new puppy, Wildair Skysong Aurora at MtnView. "Roree" will add the desirable genetics of Winpara Dragonfire and Wildair Winter Light. It will be fun to watch her grow and develop.

Passion gets her CH title

On 4/26/2008 at the Walla Walla show, Passion went Best of Winners and Best Opposite Sex for a 3 pt major and her Championship title.
